Here's an abbreviated version of the recipe I have. This is what I used. It's for tanks with pH on the lower end.:
Part 1: The Calcium Part
Dissolve 500 Gms (about 2 1/2 cups) calcium chloride dihydrate in enough water to make 1 gallon of total volume. This solution has about 37,000 ppm calcium. I used calcium from a pool supply, my source states "Dowflake 77-80%". It's used as a deicer which we don't have much problem with here in South Florida. I looked at the calcium % and what the other ingredients were to make my decision on what to buy.
Part 2: The Alkalinity Part
Spread baking soda (594 Gms (about 2 1/4 cups) on a baking tray and heat in an oven at 300 degrees f. for 1 hour to drive off water and carbon dioxide. Overheating is not a problem, either with higher temperatures or longer times. Dissolve the "baked" baking soda in enough water to make 1 gallon total volume. This may require a fair amount of mixing. Warming will speed the process. This solution will contain about 1,900 meq/L of alkalinity (5,300 dKH). Be sure to use food grade baking soda such as "Arm & Hammer".
Part 3: The Magnesium Part
Dissolve 8 cups of Epsom salts in enough water to make 1 gallon total volume. This solution is added much less frequently than the other 2 parts. each time you finish adding a gallon of both parts of parts 1 & 2, add 610 ml (2 1/2 cups) of this. It can be added all at once or over time as you choose, depending on your aquariums size and set up.
Additional points: Add all of these solutions into a high flow area and watch your livestock closely for signs of stress. The water used to make the solutions need to be RO like you use to top off your tank.
Good Luck! I have the complete article if anyone has any questions that I didn't address. Also, if anyone has anything to add to this please feel free to do so.

Remember the guy's house I took you to? He uses it. And Miriam can show you a monti cap that probably wouldn't fit in a 5 gal. bucket.

I'm good tomorrow or friday after~1200. I'm planning on going to the Blues Birthday Bash this weekend. Monday morning would be okay. anytime tuesday or wednesday. As far as pricing . I'll have to see what it ends up costing me. I wouldn't think it would be more than $15-20 a 2 gallon set. Mariam
