So...Johnnie sent me this picture of a so called Tiger Sponge. Anyone know what exactly this thing is? He said it sold for $100 on ebay.

Yes it it, I really loved it. I stopped bidding at $100.00, it sold for $132.00 + shipping. Afterwards I tried to look it up, but found NOTHING! I dont know if its real or GASP... computer enhanced....lol. I wonder if anyone on B.A.R.S. or ORCA has heard of it. If anyone of you could put it up on those 2 sites, i'd be thankful, I tried but couldn't do it Thanx Johnnie

Here are the only two options I came up with. I know the colors may not matcy exactly but you have another angle on what it may be. Good luck man. Really cool looking animal. http://www.saltcorner.com/1024/index1024.htmLeptoclinides reticulatus or Botrylloides sp They are both under the Sea Squirt section.

I believe those are zoa-encrusted sponges. Lee had one for sale recently, although I didn't ask how much. I also saw some at sealifeinc.net for $15-$25. The white is supposed to be a type of zoanthid.
